Message	I'm 16. What I meant about the 2nd gear and letting out the clutch is actually using the engine to help you stop. If you're going 40 and in 5th gear and you want to stop, I heard some people shift into 2nd and slowly let out the clutch and let the engine take the momentum. I occasionally do that at low speeds, but I usually just throw it into neutral and use the brakes. Do you downshift through ALL the gears when you stop?
